On Rotation

Throughout the years I’ve thrifted and collected a number of books and objects I love to display in our home. We have a set of shelves in our living room and I enjoy styling these objects together and switching it up periodically, almost like a gallery on rotation.

Aside from displaying the usual books and knick knacks, I also throw in little organic souvenirs I’ve collected on my trips, like seed pods, shells, or rocks. My favorite of these souvenirs is a long seed pod from the Delonix regia tree—simply known on Guam as the Flame Tree. Currently I have this pod neighboring up to another favorite find of mine—an alphabet book by Sonia Delaunay.

I love this way of displaying these objects that are so inspiring to me. My intent is that I can share more about individual items here whenever I switch up the display. Stay tuned!
