Spun Cotton Ornaments

Each Christmas season for the past few years I’ve made Christmas ornaments, either for our own tree or to give as gifts. I look to vintage ornaments as inspiration, and this year I was inspired by ornaments made from spun cotton. From fruits and veggies to little figures bundled in winter dress, antique spun cotton ornaments have always charmed me.

Though I did make a fruit and veggie ornament, I had fun making funky ornaments like an eyeball and a paintbrush complete with a tube of paint.
